Pay it Forward!

Ok this is the first challenge for all of those who visit this blog. I'm calling it Pay It Forward. How you might ask, what was I thinking, this blog is a book club! That is simple, if you are reading this then you know how to read. So the challenge well be to Pay It Forward by reading to a child/children for 15 minutes each day. If a child is learning to read have that child read to you one book.

I have teenagers, one person might be thinking. So if you have teenagers at home then find out what book they are reading in school. Read that book along with them. When both of you have finish with the book then discuss the book together. Discuss the characters, plot, climax, antagonist, and the protagonist.

What a great way to come closer to your family. My parents would do this when we were little. It promoted literacy and a love of reading. When I went through my dreaded teen years my mom would read the book's that was on the English required books to read. She wanted to know what was required to read so she can read what we were reading. So yes my mom has read:
and many more books and poems along with us. We were all glad that she did, she help us understand what was going on and what the book and poems were about. It helped make our English papers better.

Cheers Everyone!
